Ms. Lemya7
Ms. Lemya7 lives in Shalath. She teaches St'át'imc to kindergarten to grade 4. She knows how to speak St'át'imc and English. The reason that she wanted to learn her people’s language was so she could teach it. She came to Lillooet and learned to speak St'át'imc. She can sing, dance, drum, and make bedded necklaces. She makes beautiful dream catchers. She knows many songs like Soldier Boy and Paddling South on Eagles Wings. Ms. Lemya7 lives in Lillooet and teaches Cayoosh Elementary School, and we all like her.
